Job Description:

Primary Duties

? Responsible of maintaining quarantine area and monitor & communicate status of products in the area

? Assist in completing supplier surveys and helps to collate the necessary information

? Update daily non-conforming logs

? In charge of managing Quality Department Inventory (update, maintain etc.)

? Handle the calibration system

? Identify, prepare and maintain daily quality audit reports for the department

? Carry out data mining and keep track on non-conformances for all customers

? Track department waste and report to necessary parties

? Assist in preparing specification sheets / work instructions outlining corrective actions

? Manage in conjunction with Human Resources training files, training logs and respective training material for the various work stations, production lines

? Conduct quality checks from time to time on the shop floor / production line

? Analyze customer complaints, actively work within team and Quality Manager to resolve issues

? Ensure timely communication and processing of reports and other documentations

? Work on additional projects as assigned by the Quality Manager

? Uphold all pertinent ISO 9000 policies and procedures ensuring their activities adhere to company's Quality Systems

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

? English, Spanish (of advantage)

? High School Diploma or equivalent, ISO knowledge of advantage

? Good interpersonal & communication skills (verbal and written)

? Computer proficiency - Advanced MS Office ? Word, Excel (pivot table knowledge of advantage)

? Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Control, Quality Systems, Lean Manufacturing etc.

? Highly organized, detail orientated and self-motivated individual (proactive attitude)

? Ability to work in fast-paced environment, learn quickly and follow established processes
