Job Description:
Job Description Alliance for Wellness is a well-established
physician-founded and physician-led psychiatric group serving
Southern California since 2010. We are currently seeking a
Behavioral Health Unit (BHU) Psychiatric Medical Director to join
our diverse and seasoned group of Board-Certified Providers in
supporting our partner facility, Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital in

Provide clinical leadership, administrative management, and quality
oversight for psychiatric services within the Behavioral Health
Unit. Conduct psychiatric evaluations, make diagnoses, and provide
direct patient care. Prescribe medications and oversee
individualized treatment plans. Ensure coordination of mental
health care across departments and with community stakeholders.
Provide medical and administrative directions to psychiatry and
nursing staff. Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of
psychiatrists and other medical providers. Develop and implement
protocols, policies, and quality improvement initiatives. Ensure
compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards. Serve
as a liaison between medical staff, hospital departments, and
organizational leadership. Participate in the planning and
evaluation of mental health programs and conduct in-service
training for staff. Position Details and Qualifications: Will
support Henry Mayo NewHall Hospital in Valencia, CA. Must have an
MD or DO degree and be Board-Certified in Psychiatry . Must hold a
current , unrestricted California medical license and valid DEA
Minimum 3 years of experience are preferred , but motivated
candidates with less years of experience will also be considered.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (8AM to 5PM) and at least 1-2
weekends a month. Full-Time. Around $400K annual salary
(production-based model, negotiable) 1099 Independent Contractor
