Job Description:
A company is looking for an Accounting Director responsible for
overseeing all operational accounting and financial functions.
Key Responsibilities
Directs general accounting activities in accordance with US GAAP
and company policy
Oversees the core operations of the accounting department and leads
the month-end close process
Manages the audit process and partners with FP&A to support
monthly and quarterly reporting
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 10+ years of related
experience, including management of an accounting department; CPA
required
Experience in both public and private industry, particularly in a
public company with SOX controls
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and expertise in accounting policies
and internal controls
Experience in building financial management infrastructure,
including systems implementation
Ability to adapt and thrive in a demanding, fast-paced
environment
