CNC Machinist (5-Axis) Hawthorne, CA $35 – $55 per hour Stock Options Freeform Technologies Precision Meets Autonomy. As a CNC Machinist (5-Axis) , you’ll operate world-class DMG Mori and Haas multi-axis machines —post-processing 3D-printed parts for top aerospace, defense, and industrial customers. You’ll join a team pushing the boundaries of machining while developing your own programming and automation skills. What You’ll Do Set up, run, and operate programs on DMG Mori and Haas CNC machines for complex precision parts Execute machining operations from blueprints, drawings, and schematics under tight tolerances Perform on-machine and manual deburring and part finishing Inspect parts using on-machine probing and manual precision tools (micrometers, thread gauges, indicators) Handle routine machine maintenance and cutting-fluid management Participate in process-improvement projects to increase throughput and efficiency What You Bring 5 years of CNC machine setup and operation experience Proficiency machining aluminum, stainless, titanium, or Inconel Experience with 5-axis DMG Mori machines Ability to read blueprints and part drawings Preferred Skills & Experience Familiarity with Siemens controls CNC programming experience and fixture design knowledge Experience machining metal 3D-printed parts NTMA machinist certification (or equivalent) Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and CMMs Ability to operate cranes, forklifts, and shop equipment Willingness to work overtime as needed Why You’ll Love Working Here At Freeform, every employee is a shareholder .
