date.Who Are We? Toros Irrigation and Lighting business is located
in Riverside, CA. The Toro Companys irrigation business is
comprised of two distinct brands, Toro and Irritrol. Both brands
offer a full line of solid, dependable, irrigation products
including controllers, sensors, valves, spray heads and rotors to
help customers care for golf courses, sports fields, public green
spaces, commercial and residential properties. Unique Lighting
Systems is a leading brand of professional grade lighting fixtures,
low voltage transformers, LED lamps and the patented HUB system for
installation. Serving both residential and commercial markets,
Unique Lighting Systems offers a full line of outdoor lighting
products.The Engineering Specialist will make available to
engineering customers computer aided tools, processes, systems and
resources to enhance engineering's ability to develop and maintain
products. Develop and assist with the digital transformation of
technical data using state of the art tools for the enterprise.
Provide or assure that day-to-day change management administrative
tasks are completed. Maintain application software such as Creo
Parametric and Windchill PDMLink.What Will You Do?In order to grow
and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be
responsible for:
- In adherence to established procedures, process assigned
tickets for change requests related to operating procedures, work
instructions, inspection instructions, forms, and templates.
- In adherence to established procedures, process assigned
tickets for change requests related to changes to existing or new
release of SKUs, components, or materials.
- Follow internal procedures to verify completion of change
requests in Windchill and SAP as well as in any other relevant
databases.
- Conduct maintenance and consistency checks for product data
such as BOMs, routers and cost information in SAP and
Windchill.
- Maintain operating system and application software.
- Install new and updated software releases. Reload software as
required due to hardware failures.
- Define, research and develop software to automate periodic
system administration duties, enhance computer user productivity,
and provide new functionality.
- Software may be developed using languages such as "C" and Perl,
and database languages such as SQL.
- Is a liaison representing Engineering Technical Services (ETS)
and TTC Engineering departments with the TTC IT department.
- Participate in computer user groups of companies using similar
hardware and software.
- Work with the customers of engineering data to improve the
productivity of the transfer of information i.e. publications,
plants, purchasing, service, advance planning.
- Exercise fiscal responsibility during the year in the purchase
of equipment and supplies and make appropriate recommendations to
department leadership for future spending.What Do You Need?To be
considered for this role, an individual should meet the following
minimal requirements:
- Two year Associate degree in Computer Science, Manufacturing,
Industrial Engineering or other Engineering discipline
required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Document Control/CAD/CAM
field.Preferred experience:
- Bachelors in Engineering Degree

takes into account skills, experience, education, and location. It
is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range;
compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances
of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual pay range is
between $62300 - $80000. Cash compensation is one piece of our
competitive total rewards package. You may be eligible to
participate in an incentive program, which rewards employees based
on individual and organizational performance. Eligibility and award
amounts are determined by company policy and performance metrics.
